Just thought I would submit this post on my progress after my

surgery. As it stands right now I am five weeks post op and I only

have one more week to wear this silly compression stocking on my

leg. My recovery has been remarkable! I am walking without any cane

or crutches and I have no limp at all. More importantly I have

absolutely no pain.

I have been extremely diligent in my physio and I feel that is

really paying off. Walking is the key! To anyone that has a resurface

procedure done I would highly recommend alot of walking. It can wear

you out but the benefits are significant.

I truly believe that God answered my prayers and I am ever thankful

for Mr. McMinn and his abilities.

It is going to be quite interesting living life without pain now!

All the best,

I am just back-packed back from a resurf job with dr.

Mont in maryland I am 10 days post-op and walking 1000

ft a day now and doing great. Some incision an muscle

pain but that is to be expected. Hopefully everyday

will get a little bit better. I am on 50% weight

bearing for 6 weeks. Glad I tried this procedure at 45

and AVN late stage 4+ I could not take pain anymore.

Craig - Glad you're doing great. There is developing quite an alumni group

from Dr Mont. Mike Wolf, Hal Mordkofsky, Mark Carder and myself recently

met face to face at Sinai and exchanged thoughts. We were all early

ConservePlus patients of Mont and had been communicating for some time via

mail providing each other with helpful information and supporting thoughts.

We're all middle aged and doing well, although actually still

recovering/rehabbing, and glad we were able to get involved with Mont's

program. If we can help you - send along your inquiries.

Regards,

Brad Buchan

Thanks for your support. I am glad to have spoken to

you directly before I had the surgery. As with at

least 7 of Monts patients conserve + patients all

relating positive results. At 10 days post-op I have

no complaints about using Mont just some incision and

muscle pain but that should get better everyday. Going

for my 4th walk today. Did about 1/4 mile walking

today.
