My husbands dr. refused to order the DD hair test for him because she

said that it was not an FDA approved test. This is a resident dr. I

called DD lab and asked them, they said yes they were FDA approved,

but this dr. insists that she called and they told her that they

weren't. Anyone know what's up with this??

Ask her what number she called and who she talked to.

Doctor is prejudiced, got confused finding an excuse not to do the

right thing and help sick people.

Find a real doctor instead.

BTW, tests do not need to be FDA approved like drugs are. It will say

that it is not approved and is for investigational use only on the

test report itself if that is the case.

no, I don't -- but if you get bored enough with this situation,

you can get the test ordered for you by Direct Lab Services.

Read about it here:
