Guest guest Posted December 15, 2005 Report Share Posted December 15, 2005 I wanted to let everyone know that I spoke with M2 on Tuesday night. It was so wonderful to hear her voice! They have a plan of attack devised to rid her of cancer and it involves the big guns. (The cancer was found in her lymph nodes, as well.) The docs put a port in her chest already and mapped out a plan for the external radiation. The chemo and the ex. radiation both are set to begin on Monday. At some point they will place a medal stent through her side into the bile duct to gain access for internal radiation. After the cancer is gone, she is thinking Mayo Jax. will be the center for a tx. Let's pray that she gets all that she wants (and more) and that she gets it quickly! I still can't manage to "talk" too much about this without my heart breaking -- wishing I could spare her all of this. So, I will just say we are still planing to go fishing, here in MO in the not-too-distant future!
