My son Josh was originally diagnosed with cryptogenic cirhhosis and chronic pancreatitis with fibrosis found in his pancreas also. This dx remained for almost 4 years. He started taking ritalin (sp?) when he was a sophomore in college and 1 1/2 years later he had an enlarged liver and all the accompanying complications. I questioned the doctors about it (ritalin) and they said that there was no connection. Is the chemical composition of ritalin and strattera similar? They probably aren't but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.
