Since they think that arthritis might be an auto immune response from research, you could try Benadryl for sleep. It is used for sleep and it is an anti-histimine and will stop an auto immune response. It is fairly safe and you could try it. Let me know if it works for him for sleep. Good Luck and let us know how he does. *Check his vitamin deficiencies also because Vitamin D deficiencies increase pain so look at this from all angles.
