- that's brilliant! the district has said they will continue to provide

teacher of the deaf services for him, in addition to his " gear " so that's an

excellent point. Thank you so much!

Lots of Deaf kids have IEPs even if they are on track academically because they

need the interpreter and without services they would fall behind. There's a

recent case about a school that tried this on an older student with CP and the

judge ruled she needed services through IEP.
