I found out that Barretts esophagus comes from continual untreated regurgitation of acid to the esophagus over the years. My Dad did great with Nexium and it healed his esophagus right up and his lining was so eroded. I hope that you have not created a relaxed area that prevents the esophagus from closing the acid from coming back up. My husband had both ends checked out three weeks ago and he came out A OK so I know that you will also. Here's hoping for a good report.
