Guest guest
Hi All, I am another one who doesn't write all that often, but I always read the posts. I send my heart prayers to all of you in pain, facing cancer (Ron) or disappointments (). My adrenal cyst appears to be benign. My endo wants a follow-up MRI in three months. My ovarian cyst is gone, so that's more good news. I have a bone scan next week (most of my pain is in my joints and bones). Then I swear I want to take a break from the medical jungle. A latest blood test showed I am low thyroid, so I began Armour thyroid today, 30 gr to start. A couple of my friends said I should use Armour. Any of you know any reason why I should not?? I am mildly hopeful that this may shift things for me, since I have learned that being low thyroid can cause pain and weight gain. Last Friday, after my yearly mammogram (ouch) I was walking back to my car in the parking ramp, when an elderly gentleman backed up and into me when he left his parking place (OUCH!). I was thrown onto my 'good' knee and hands and arms before tumbling over. The good news is: I am not seriously hurt, nothing broken. However, I was hurt and am so afraid of more setbacks. My knee is better tonight (I can bend it), but I am noticing pain in my elbows, writst, etc. This is just so freaky to me. I think my 'bad luck coupons' should be used up by now. Ah well, the only way to go is forward, limping or not. What's that saying? I felt bad about having no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet. Shoes or feet or not, the collective courage of this group helps me to go on. Thanks for that. J. / MN
