Adalimumab (Humira) (Abbott Laboratories)

Does anyone have any personal knowledge on the above drug? It is a

drug which has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of rheumatoid

arthritis. There is a clinical study at the University of Florida and

Mayo, MN (one of the co investigators came from mayo) to test its

effects on PSC. For my son to participate, he has to be off the

ursadiol for three months before beginning on the trial. I am a bit

hesistant to get him off the ursadiol for a bit but as has been pointed

out to me, the ursadiol just helps in the bile flow and may change the

liver enzyme levels but has not been found to have any effects of the

duct now the liver itself. Any information from anyone will be great.

Also, apart from the Worth boy who seemed to have recovered from the

PSC, is there any knowledge of anyone else on the same regimen as the

Worth boy who had the same response?
