Guest guest
Hi Aubrey, I have a few questions if you don’t mind. Ken had an ultrasound after which he said “they couldn’t find his kidney”. The results have come back – although I haven’t seen it for myself - he read parts of it to me over the phone. It said “a mass effect” (speaking about his left kidney) and that it was compressed – we figure that’s because of his enlarged spleen. The measurements given were: Left kidney – 12.6 x 5.7 x 4.6 Right kidney – 11.1 x 5.9 x 5.3 Doesn’t sound like much of a difference except the kidneys are pretty small, right? What do you think? Is it a problem to worry about? Also, they couldn’t see any of his pancreas! The report says because of “overlying bile gas”. That’s a new one to me, haven’t heard anyone else mention bile gas….can you please explain? Thanks a bunch Aubrey, Barb in Texas - Son Ken (29) UC 91 PSC
