Guest guest
Quick post to say that I took my son to the lake today, where we met a girl, about 8 years old, who was also swimming at the lake. We tried to say hi but her grandma informed us that she could not speak and only used sign language. I told her I was sorry because I didn't know sign language, and really felt guilty. Its not logical, but I feel it was my fault for not knowing sign language and being prepared incase I ever met someone that communicated that way. I also felt like the grandma was thinking I was ignorant and that I was disgusted with the girl. I feel she thought I was thinking bad things. But of course I wasn't. Anyone else believe others think you are thinking bad things about them, when of course, you're not? ~Kim
