Guest guest
Hi Patti, okay, I'll give you my non-techie answers > 1.) copper is 35 with a ref. range of 9 to 30 > zinc is 230 with a ref range of 110 to 190 > I have started chelation on my son this week with only 50 mg ala > given every 3 hrs round the clock per Andy's protocol. I cannot help > but worry about the copper and zinc has usually been recomended to > lower copper but he has enough of that so should I be using > molybdemun instead. don't assume that high hair zinc means he is getting enough zinc. It could mean he is dumping it all. I don't know what it DOES mean. I think you do need to supplement zinc. You may ALSO want to supplement moly. Also reduce intake of copper, which means limit nuts. (and um --organ meats?-- I never remember this right since I don't eat meat LOL.) > 2.) As I understand Andy's protocol, given the half life reasoning > of the ALA, you should supplement every 3 hrs. Do you mean " supplement " with vitamins/minerals? No, that does not follow. Whether it matters depends upon what the substance is and what it does. Some things can be given every few days or even once a month. Other things need to be given really often. I think the supps that Andy usually recommends " 4 times a day " are water soluable ones, but I may be wrong or that may not be " why " . > I am wondering what > happens when a molecule of ala grabs some mercury and it's 3 hour > life is 5 minutes from over. The ALA molecule does not have its life " end " in your body. What happens is that when you take the ALA, there are LOTS of ALA molecules in your blood FOR A WHILE. Then, your body clears them out, gradually, over a period of time. So, then there are FEWER ALA molecules in your blood at that point. So, it is not a matter of some of the molecules dying. Then there is only a little bit. What happens when you take ALA every 3 hours is that the level in your blood fluctuates but NEVER gets really low. You take another dose before it would get really low. The term " half life " does not refer to something (like a molecule of ALA) becoming inactive. It refers to the amount of time it takes for only HALF of it to be present in blood. For example if there is 100 mg of substance x in my blood at the high point, and then after 3 hours there is 80 mg and after 4 hours there is 70 mg and after 5 hours there is 60 mg and after 6 hours there is 45 mg, the half life is the point when there is HALF as much (50 mg) in my blood. Somewhere between 5 and 6 hours. The example is theoretical, I do not have some particular substance in mind. LOL. > 3.) I believe that my sons problems stem from alot of dental work > being done when I was pregnamt with him such a removal of big silver > fillings and replacement with even bigger silver fillings. Also I > remember the conductivity of some filling in my mouth which means > that I had dissimilar metals in place another big positive > Anyways, my son was born Dec 1992, and has all shots and > immunizations. Has anybody had any great success detoxing a child > like mine. I know everybody gets better not everybody gets better! , but if mercury was present > in utero and poisioning was not after birth such as from > vaccinations only, can my son get better if mercury interfeared from > day one in development? > The neurologist said my son has regressive autism, he used to have > some language but not normal but useful in some ways You should read Dana's posts about her son--- who was autistic from birth. He never developed, so he did not " regress " . He is doing very well from chelation and other interventions. /files/LOVE_LETTERS See " Dana " section. best wishes, Moria
