I wish there was something I could do on a limited basis, but I worked for a

Birth to Three agency and got laid off last February. The services cost money

for most families, so enrollment is way down. My human resources director felt

awful since she knew how bad I wanted to come back, but I was one of the last

hired, so...

I can only drive between doses of pain meds and then I can only bear to be off

meds for a very short time, so I don't know how I'd be able to reliably do

anything.

I'm glad for you that you are able to do at least something in the education

field. I just have to keep hoping that I'll be " fixed " soon. Worker's comp is

trying to screw with my benefits again (really underhanded this time...my lawyer

AND the commissioner were furious about their tactics!), so I just want to be

done with this already. I dream of the days when I groaned when my alarm went

off but still got up and went to work. I really loved my job, so the sooner I'm

fixed, the better so I can look for a new job!
