Guest guest Posted December 5, 2005 Report Share Posted December 5, 2005 I just received word from , 's (TX, aka M2) husband, and the surgeons were unable to move forward with 's tx. Only a couple of hours after the surgery began the surgeon came out and told that they had found cholangiocarcinoma. When awoke they gave her the news, but she was still so groggy that says it's hard to tell how she really is. They are scheduled to see an oncologist tomorrow. Four weeks ago had an ERCP, with brushings, done due to her high CA-19-9. The results, at that time, came back negative. Either the results of her ERCP were incorrect, they didn't get a good sample, or the cancer presented itself within the past month. Either way, and her family are in dire need of prayers!
