Guest guest
I have a similar child, but I'm not sure why. I don't think it has anything to do with hearing loss, but I could be wrong. Guest guest
This is just a possibility, but the book about sensory integration disorder mentions that some SI kids crave these sensations and can seem quite unaffected by them. I loaned my copy of Out-of-Sync child out, but I believe that would be a hyposensitive vestibular sense. An occupational therapist could identify that. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Funny thing, my son has had the vertiago attacks, but doesn't get dizzy other times. Loves spinning in circles, the tube swing at the park, etc. Makes me sick, but he's just fine and dandy. Go figure. We chuckle when someone thinks he has general dizziness, when it is actually more episodic. There are so many causes for hearing loss or the dizziness. Who knows? --Karin Markert
