I never could pinpoint what caused me to itch. I remember going in for clinic, about 3 months prior to tx when my itching was driving me crazy, and all my numbers were slightly elevated, but nothing extreme - less than 10%. They decided to try Rifampin and that did wonders. Ultraviolet light like a tanning bed has helped several people. Obvious caution should be observed because of your current meds. Wear lighter clothing. I would suggest looking at your diet first. I'll refrain from asking if your under stress...I think I know the answer :-). Definitely report it to your dr. The more he knows the better. He'll probably suggest some lab work if none has been taken recently. As for type O. You may have a longer wait than most but so much depends on where you live and the livers available. Atlanta is a very large city so your chances may be greater. I look on the support website, I think I rcall that Arne posted the breakdown of bloodtypes and their percentages. One thing is for sure, don't let that sidetrack you and consume you.
