Guest guest
, I haven't posted in a while - been hopping across the US. There was an article in Readers Digest regarding mercury poisoning in individuals that consume large amounts of fish, or supplements from them. A dr. on the west coast found several patients to be suffering from major fatigue, trembling extremities and in some cases extreme hair loss and seizures. After eliminating all alternatives she decided to check one patient in particular for poisonous metals. This lady came back with 10x the recommended EPA exposure limit for mercury. After eliminating accidental and " voluntary " causes, they focused their attention on diet. They found that she and the others were consuming high amounts of fish, especially the big game fish such as tuna, mahi mahi, sea bass, shark, etc. Once the fish was eliminated, all symptoms ceased. They referenced an article in the American medical journal but I didn't research it. For me, I eat as much fish as I can when on the road since my wife's allergic to all types of fish, even the smell. I'll try to post the article from readers digest and let you draw your own conclusion. Darin
