Guest guest
Hello again everyone. Yesterday my mom managed to get me an appointment with a liver specialist at 's Hopkins in Baltimore, the appointment is next Friday, the 7th. We originally thought there was no way we would get an appointment until March or later, so we were pretty suprised to get an appointment this soon. I'm not exactly sure how much good it's going to do for my overall situation, but at the very least we will be getting another opinion on my situation from someone who deals strictly with livers. I'll let everyone know how it all goes. I also have a question for anyone and everyone. I know there isn't much at all when it comes to proven successful methods of treatment for PSC at the current time. However, is there anything going on in terms of studies or experiments or anything that might have already been done where the results weren't totally clear, where there have been results or preliminary results that could be considered optimistic? Maybe not even stuff that has been tested, but just normal activities that are thought to have a positive effect on those affected by PSC, like eating certain foods or doing certain types of exercises? Thanks for the help everyone and happy new year. I for one am so ready to turn over the calender and put 2004 behind me, the last third of the year has been extrememly tough for me and I'm ready to move on to 2005.
