Guest guest
you're right, Lynnette, but just about all of us have a wonderful sense of humor and can laugh at ourselves and our situation once we can step back from it, and that keeps us sane :-) Jackie " Nada's in a psych ward " " I was hoping you'd buy the car for me " " Schitzoaffective disorder versus BPD " " Thanksgiving...ugh! Guest guest
I was thinking that " I was hoping you'd buy the car for me " sounds like it has a bit of country song flavor to it.... Don't mean to offend any country music fans out there! Suzy
Guest guest
A Country Car Song for Nada: I was hoping that you'd buy a car for me, A brand new Caddy or an SUV, I know you want the world to think you care, So buy that car so I can have a spare. You know I like to drive the streets at night, Cruise by your house to see if you're all right, And when my first car breaks, it's more than I can take - A second car would keep you in my sight. So pony up the money right away And sign the papers for that car today! And when you finally do, I'll ask for something new - And never, ever let you get away. > > I was thinking that " I was hoping you'd buy the car for me " sounds like it has a bit of country song flavor to it.... > > Don't mean to offend any country music fans out there! > > Suzy >

Guest guest
I'd be interested to read any research studies that show a correlation between children diagnosed with oppositional defiant disorder or other childhood " conduct disorders " who then as teens/young adults go on to be diagnosed with any of the Cluster B personality disorders. I'm betting there is a correlation, which is another way of saying that personality disorder does become evident early in life. My understanding is that there are separate and distinct terminologies for referring to the various personality disorders and mental illnesses when the subject is a child, in order to avoid stigmatizing them or something. I'm not sure why that is; seems to me that schizophrenia is schizophrenia and psychopathy is psychopathy. Name it and treat it, and maybe cure it, if possible. Its like saying, " This child does not have a broken femur, only adults have broken femurs, so I'm diagnosing this as a " fractured osteostructure. " I don't get it. -Annie > > You nailed it, ! Guest guest
Isn't ODD in children curable with medication? ________________________________ To: WTOAdultChildren1 Sent: Thu, November 12, 2009 8:14:06 PM Subject: Re: Ya know... have ever stopped to think about the topics posted here?
