Supplement and Lab Questions?

We have sent off our son's hair test yesterday. We expect the results

in 2-4 weeks. WHat we would like to know is:

-Will this test tell us which supplements he needs to be on during

on/off periods of chelation, or should we have additional tests done?

-If/when we start chelating, when should we have additional tests

done, what types of tests, and are there 'local' labs that are good at

this? Not only do we want to make sure we are getting rid of the

mercury, we want to make sure his body isn't being depleted of minerals.

-Is there an online supplier that is a one-stop sho for all necessary

supplements that are reccomeded for this type of treatment. We've

been using Poly Vi-Sol as our son has a limited diet (no meat), so we

have to make sure he gets enough Vitamins/Iron.

Any other helpful tips would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Jay, father of Connor, 27 Month old PDD-NOS (non-verbal)

The hair test can give you *some* ideas for supplements, but don't rely just

on that test.

I chelated my son for more than a year and recently we had a hair test done.

Most of his minerals were in the ranges. We suppemented with selenium, zinc,

magnesium, calcium, molybdenum.

How do you know how much of each supplement to use? My understanding

is that too much can be as bad as too little?

Sometimes it's trial and error. If you pay attention you can usually tell.

Also, if you look in the Files, you will find here:

useful recommendations regarding this. There's a whole sections that discusses

doses and " how " and " what " . It helped me a lot.
