Guest guest
Hello all I know weight loss is a common effect of advancing liver disease. My question to the group is what is considered a typical loss? 10% of your original body weight 15, 20% ? I've just passed the 15% mark, and am approaching my ideal weight very fast, so I am not hurting from that perspective, but just wondering if I'm on a trip from 36's to 32's or what. They have already eliminated the usual things that might otherwise drive this such as cancers, depression, etc., so once again I am not real concerned about those things either, and perhaps unwisely so!! Also the weight loss pre dates the stimulants. Second question. Anyone have screwed up labs (the usual AST, ALP, ALT, Billi, etc.) after starting Provigil or Ritalin? I didn't have a therapeutic response to provigil (for fatigue associated with PSC), but have shot a particularly bad set of labs while on provigil. Trying to understand the likelihoods. My Hep says he's never seen the association, but it could be an individual thing. Just wondering. Bestjd, 45UC 1973, Jpouch 2000, Chronic Pouchitis 2001, PSC 2004, Stage 3Southern, IL krmpotich@...
