Guest guest
> the problem we have are those lovely people who insist on calling 911 and ask what to do when a tornado has been spotted. its really frustrating since most of those people have lived in northeastern colorado all their life and are just now wondering what to do if there is a tornado. This happens here, too. Tulsa is right in Tornado Alley. You know, if I was moving to southern California, I would find out what to do in an earthquake before I went. If I was moving to Florida, I would find out what to do in a hurricane before I went. If I was moving ANYWHERE, I would research weather, crime, etc. But people who move here (and Tulsa has LOTS of people who are not from Oklahoma) don't do that. It really really frustrates me. Not only that, but all the local stations tell people over and over during the weather (and they stay on non-stop during bad weather) what to do when the tornado is coming. So, these people are obviously not even turning on the TV (which is the first thing I do when a bad storm comes.)
