I haven't seen anyone mention freezing the protein drinks and eating them

frozen. Is there a reason that it shouldn't be done? Whenever I have used

Slim Fast or any other weight loss drink, I have frozen them to make them

palatable and to force me to take longer to consume them. I am using them

right now because I must lose 20 pounds before surgery. (I have already

lost 16, Yeaaaaaaah!) I have a tentative surgery date of September 17,

pending insurance approval. All the other tests are done and my surgeon

thinks I am a good candidate for this surgery.

There is a tastless odorless protein powder that I had CVS order. They use

it at the hospital I work in and it has 4 gm protein for 1 tablespoon. You

can mix with about anything as it is tastless. It is about $16 a can.

I use 100% Whey Protein from GNC

1 scoop vanilla powder

2 oz of any flavor crystal light mixed in fridge

1 banana

5 strawberries or blueberries, rasberries, kiwi or whatever!

1 tray of ice

Blend till smooth

22 gr of protein

I also get the choclate flavor powder and instead of the berries I

use 1 T of peanutbutter and it tastes like a snickers!

Snickers Banana smoothie

1 scoop choclate powder

2 oz water

1 banana

1 Tbs of peanutbutter

1 tray of ice

Blend till smooth

22 gr of protein
