Guest guest Posted June 21, 2003 Report Share Posted June 21, 2003 I have a testimonial for Excel service which will make me a customer for life even if I was not a rep. Yesterday I was having my TV satellite changed to DISH. Their installation person wanted to put the satellite on a pole in my yard versus on the house for better reception. A few minutes later I was on the phone and it went dead. I quickly checked all lines and found no dial tones. Of course it also meant no computer. I yelled at the guy outside to tell him to stop he had just cut my phone lines. I grabbed my cell phone and my first call was to excel. They told me they would have my service back on within 24 hrs. I thought that was great. My next call was to Bell South since I had to keep one line with them because of my dsl. They told me they may not have my service back on until 7:00 on Thursday. This was at 2:00 on Tuesday. Needless to say I was not happy. This morning at 9:00 my doorbell rang and there stood a guy in a Bell South shirt. He was only aware of my excel phone number and not the other number. He of course fixed both while he was here but Excel is the one that got him here. We need to make sure all of our customers know the difference in the type of service Excel offers. I now have my own testimonial however anyone can use this example.
