Guest guest
I am very very confused, will someone please help me figure this out. On this page of one site it mentions the surcharge. http://www.babies- by-levin.com/original/rev_10.htm Second section says something about the surcharge and has a link to a page that shows you how to figure it out. On this page of this site it doesn't mention it at all...and nowhere else on the site that I can see. http://www.tubalreversal.biz/rev_10.html Wonder why they are different?? I really wanted to get a buddy and have the $5,500 price. Even talked about having Thresia as a buddy. The reason I was so anxious about the Christmas Special was because there is nothing on that page that says that it doesn't apply to overweight women. HELP!!!! Guest guest
Try this page see if it explains it a little better http://www.babies-by-levin.com/original/weight.htm Re: Weight surcharge.....OK Please Help me....... > > I am very very confused, will someone please help me figure this out. > > On this page of one site it mentions the surcharge. http://www.babies-by-levin.com/original/rev_10.htm Second section says something about > the surcharge and has a link to a page that shows you how to figure > it out. > > On this page of this site it doesn't mention it at all...and nowhere > else on the site that I can see. > http://www.tubalreversal.biz/rev_10.html > > Wonder why they are different?? Guest guest
Yes, that is the link that is on that one page. I guess what I am curious about is, what if someone only saw the other page? When I was making my decision to use Dr. Levin I had only saw the other page. I have no idea why I was looking at it yesterday. I was very upset to know that there was now a surcharge because of weight. I had made plans based on the information on the other page. Has anyone here had this surcharge applied, or been knocked out of being a buddy due to their weight. I am really discouraged about it. Keyla > > > I reviewed the 11-page overview. Guest guest
Ok ya'll chances are its a hospital surcharge that only recently was implemented! We have stuck together thru this so we can do it together! Be each other support. More protein but in the right serving sizes! Less carbs! about 1500 calories a day but don't skip meals. Less fats! If you go below 1200 calories a day your body goes into starvation mode and conserves everything! So eat 1500 a day at least! no more than 2000! Park at the edges of parking lots and walk all the way up to the store! If your work offers a work out plan USE IT yea it may be TR money but just think you are getting double benefits from this and isn't $30 a month worth the $750 savings and a life style change! WE CAN DO IT WE ARE WOMEN WE ARE STRONG! Lillady's Legacy Dolls Re: Weight surcharge.....OK Please Help me....... I am very very confused, will someone please help me figure this out. Guest guest
You're scaring me, . You sound like a high strung aerobics instructor!! LOL I appreciate your encouragment though. My dh mentioned me losing the weight. I just don't think that I can lose 50lbs in 3 months. I don't think it would be healthy even if I could. Keyla > > I reviewed the 11-page overview. Guest guest
I know this is Dr Levin's list, but I have a problem with charging an additional charge due to being overweight. We ladies have enough problems without adding that to it. I think Dr Levin is wonderful, but I have a serious problem with this. My surgery, (yes with another doc, local to me), didn't take any longer than it would a normal person, except that I had adhesions on my left ovary that were removed. This is as bad as the airlines that charge overweight people double fares. It's just my opinion, and perhaps it wasn't meant this way, but it smacks of discrimination to me. We overweight people have enough problems dealing with society in general assuming we are lazy slobs who don't deserve a second look. I just plain think it's wrong. Guest guest
Losing weight is not all that easy. Just to drop 50lbs within 3 months is not a healthy way to lose and you can't do it on 1500 calories a day, not if you do it right. The best that could be done is 25, maybe 30 lbs. I've been on every diet (yes, even this one, 1500 cals a day) under the sun and it simply doesn't work for me. Sherri On Wed, 13 Nov 2002 00:12:04 -0000 " kids3dogs3 " writes: > You're scaring me, . Guest guest
Trish- Have you considered swimming? It is great exercise. It is also totally low impact. Or none, actually. Your insurance may pay for it at a phys. therapy place since you have bad ankles. I'd check it out. Good luck. Carol Maday
