, Sorry about the labs. Hope you hear from your doctor soon. Those labs don't look good. I would think the Rifampin may be making the labs worse. Rifampin and blood test results - not looking good Okay, I've been on Rifamin 4 weeks now. I had blooddrawn and tested at 2 weeks and 4 weeks.My labs prior to taking Rifampin were:ALKPHOS 572, THEN IT JUMPED TO 794, AND 1063ALT 78, THEN 104, NOW 162AST 51, TO 59, NOW 91BILITOTAL WAS .6, THEN .6, NOW .7BILIDIRECT WAS .3, THEN .5 NOW .6BILI IND WAS .3, THEN .1 NOW .1
