neighborhood block captain list. I asked to be removed because I can not

keep up with the Jonses or their gossip about my fellow neighbors any more,

and I have my own never-ending pain to thank for it. Just a little humor at

my own predicament.

I'm sorry you are having a problem. We have a small yard and can

barely keep up with it.

Have you tried asking these neighbors for help? If they won't

you might try calling your local city unemployment agency.

They often have people willing to do spot jobs.

Ours has teenagers listed who are willing to do yard work,

but if you have a snake problem that might not be the best

idea. Later, one might be helpful to maintain your yard.

These are a few ideas that might not cost an arm and a

leg.

If the housing market wasn't in the crapper, you could

sell your home and move to a condo where they do the

yard work.
