Guest guest
Hi Dieter, Wilkommen! und Grusse Gott! I think I remember that last part correctly - I worked for a company whose parent was in Sterzing/Vipiteno, and visited there twice. It's such a beautiful part of the world. Your English is very good - please feel free to practise with us! I live near Toronto, in Canada. I have a fear of needles/injections, and that will probably be the worst part for me. I usually faint. It is really important that I don't see the needle, or watch, or see any blood. I have to tell this to the staff at the hospital on the day that I go. I am certain that they have had similar patients before. I will have upper/lower and possible genio for a Class II malocclusion (overbite/overjet) on August 27th, which is one week after you. Your age makes a big difference in recovery, I think. I am nearly 47, and although I'm very healthy, I think it's going to make me very tired after the operation. I will take four weeks off work. Also if you are only having one jaw done (I will have both), the recovery is a bit easier. I am glad you are here, and looking forward to hearing how everything goes for you. > > hi folks! > > my name is dieter, I´m thirty-something,coming from vienna, austria. first i want to exuse for my english, i´m not very used to write in english. > > i have surgery next wednesday, the upper jaw will be set higher and forward (both only 3mm), and genioplastic. I had genioplastic and uper widening five years ago, so i have a little experience what´s coming up. So here and now I´m not really nervous, but that can change, I´m hating injections and the worst thing in my mind now is to be transfered to the op-room. > > my nbiggest concern now,is, that when the upper jaw will be set upwards (because of long face syndrom), that my teeth are not further apparent. i´ll talk about this with my doctor on monday. > > So, i like to share my experiences with you in the next weeks, hope you understand, what i´m talking here. > > > > D.
