The doc measures mine when I go in. Last time he showed me so that I

could keep track. They measure from the bottom of the top teeth to

the top of the bottom like you said. That way they get the actual

opening.

Ps. In reference to your other post to me: I doubt I'd get the botox

but I definitely will be asking the dermatologist if he has any

suggestions next time I see him.
