Maybe it's just we women who feel uncomfortable. I agree that the language is sometimes inappropriate. I thought it was just me being a little oversensitive but obviously not.

Some people don't know any other way to interact without tying some type of sexual connotation to the discussion. Such people generally have inadequate sense of selves and truly show this by their inability to do otherwise. Try not to take them seriously and you only go to their level if you allow yourself to.

Sorry it makes you feel uncomfortable, but it doesn't make ME feel

uncomfortable. I'm very comfortable with my body, hip problems and all.

Perhaps you have forgotten that this is a group and as such we ought to be concerned with all group members. So are you not concerned about others. Are you not aware that such comments in the workplace would be considered harrassment. What is wrong with having a group for support that can leave sexualizing others out of it.

Actually, I didn't think that there was anything sexual at all in her

initial comment! I have dysplasia too and, yes, sure enough, one of my legs

is notably longer than the other (just like Bruce Lee!) I simply assumed

she was referring to a congenital deformation. I guess she and I have less

in common than I thought :o>

No, you are right, it is a congenital deformation.....I feel like my waist it

at my chest sometimes though.
