in MO in hospital - update

Hi all,

I just got off of the phone with . She's in good spirits, but

she decided last night to check into club med when her cholangitis

attack worsened. It was an unexpected trip to the ER, so she didn't

have her computer with her - she's aware that she owes several

people emails but it will be at least a couple of days before she's

able to do so...

Medically, she's doing okay. She's already had IV Levaquin to help

with the infection. They're giving her vitamin K to help her INR. If

it works, she'll undergo an ERCP tomorrow to see if there are any

major strictures that the doc can help with dialating. Being in the

hospital helps document her frequent cholangitis attacks, which are

now happening even on the continuous antibiotics. She's in

Jewish West County for those of you who know the area.

Like I said, she's in good spirits, but without her computer.

Prayers that the vitamin K works and that they're able to provide

her with some relief with the ERCP would sure help!
