Guest guest
Hi...I have a quick question I am hoping someone may have some info...I just found out I have Protein S deficiency...I found out via a blood test to find out a possible cause for 2 miscarriages. I looked a bit online to find out more and one of the causes can be liver disease. I have not yet spoken to my OBGYN or gastroenterologist (hopefully next week)...should I be worried that perhaps my PSC is progressing and that is why I have the deficiency? So far, I have only had one "episode" related to PSC and that was when (and why) I was diagnosed in late 1998. No "problems" since. Anyone have any info on Protein S deficiency and PSC? I do not know the actual level...my OBGYN said it was a little low and that if I considered getting pregnant again I may need to go on heparin. Thanks for any help. Dawn in NY UC since 1988 PSC dx in 1998
