My descendants are Irish/German, so we should know how

to brew tea. I know folks in the states are more

likely to make iced tea. It's refreshing, and doesn't

have all the sodium soda contains.

My thoughts exactly! I have decreased the sugar in our

iced tea (we make about 4 gallons at a time)because

Tom has Diabetes, but otherwise I make it correctly.

The 4 gallons, sounds crazy, but it lasts almost a

week. If you keep the containers, in the refrigerator,

with tight lids, it tastes just fine.

The restaurant iced tea here, tastes like dish water.

Yuck!

Lyndi,

Luzzianne (sp maybe wrong) is the closest to the down home " brewed " ice

tea, like its supposed to be. It is supposed to be brewed or steeped

and then made ice tea. You are right, it is wonderful to have a glass

of iced tea down the right way.

It is so refreshing to sit down and drink the correct ice tea, It's

like drinking water, it is refreshing and does not leave a

need to drink more to get the taste you want. Bennie
