Has anyone actually tried it? What was the process like getting it from your doctor? We haven't started down that road yet, but I'm not expecting a lot of cooperation, what with us asking for an off-label use of an out-of-fashion med. From what I've read about it, the human trials are far from complete and are quite inconclusive. I found an article written for the average person. It doesn't use a lot of medical jargon to basically state that neuropathic pain is memorized pain. http://tinyurl.com/497qxz Here's a slightly more complicated article: http://tinyurl.com/3qps68 The idea of neuropathic pain being nothing more than a pain memory that got stuck, seems a little far fetched to me. -- Lyndi

I have neuropathy pain, so I agree with you Lyndi. Besides, anytime there is an article about a huge possible breakthrough, and they aren't out of the lab rat stage, it isn't really a big deal. I'm glad someone is studying these things, but this sounds like it's a long way from any real world application.
