I've always been a heavy reader and am finding that while I may vaguely remember the book, I can't remember how the plot goes, and so it's like getting a new book. How are you doing with the lactulose? Thursday night I forgot to take mine and was brain-dead all day yesterday. I'm also finding that unless the dose is high enough to trigger full diarrhea, I'm still a bit foggy. So the question becomes: do I want to function mentally but be tied to the bathroom, or stay more comfortable but not have a clue as to what I'm doing?
