Guest guest
I was wondering, does anyone in this group work outside the home? Do you draw disability? SSI? The reason I'm asking is because I was self-employed(for about 4 years) up until last December of this year. (I have not worked since.) I had a business license and paid taxes but no other insurance related to the company like (workman's comp and Disability). I have worked under my business name since 05'.(company of " one " ) I have suffered physically with this line of work. I have been seeing my Dr. quite often and he knows my history of chronic pain. To make a long story short. Does any body know if they think I would be eliblable to apply for some kind of disability or maybe even Social Security even if I was self employed for a few years?. (The rest of my 30 year work history has been with employers) I also have other medical problems that might fit into this situation. I have breast cancer, (inactive at this time, but still being watched/ and my Fibromyaligia which is chronic, but my back is the worst. If anyone has been though something remotely close to this situation please post back. Thank you, Bonnie

The site will give you information on what disabilities are covered, what disabilities are considered " automatic approval " items and a variety of information. Bennie is a good person to talk with about this subject. She can give you tips and pointers that will help you in the process. Hope that this helps.
