OT trip to California

I will certainly keep you informed when we get closer to the time. I wish we could stay longer. But I am already worried about being gone from Friday to Sunday. My little four year old hates to be away from us. She will be okay if she gets to stay with my sister, but she doesn't like to be with her mom or dad for very long. My little Rylan gets more and more insecure all the time--too many visitations.

My son is for sure headed to Kuwait. The ship he is on is picking up supplies in Texas, South Carolina, and then headed to Kuwait. I'd appreciate prayers and thoughts for him. He said they would not even be allowed off the ship in Kuwait. He likes being aboard the ship. He has a large room to himself, but not a private bathroom, shares with one other person. They have a weight room. The food is good. He doesn't have to wear a uniform and he gets another chance to attempt to grow a goatee. He also doesn't have to cut his hair. We last saw him in June. We will see him for the first time again that Thanksgiving weekend of the tournament.

I guess they have a private college or something in Claremont? Have you heard from your son? I include him in my prayers. When does he return? What exactly is he doing on this mission? Is a proselyting mission or a humanitarian one?

Do you have any definite wedding dates set? I can't remember if you said or not.

make a note of my private e-mail, maureen@... ...and when it gets closer to that time, we can make our arrangements, etc. my friend melanie or her husband kyle could probably recommend a place or two for us to consider as a meeting place.

there are others in the group living fairly close to where you'll be. peg (and her husband phil) come to mind, as well as irene and her husband martin. i'm sure there are others! if others want to join in, then we could find an alternate meeting place more central to all of us.
