Guest guest
I want to share with all of the " graduates " the kind of person is. , you has been an inspiration to me since I first met her online almost a year ago. When I thought I would never feel normal again post op she assured me. When I hit a nasty plateau and I thought I was going to be in the 15% that fail to lose, she made me believe in myself. Every step of the way she kind, positive and has cheered me on. SO . . . Yes, I see a physical improvement in your new drivers license picture . . . but I have to say the smile is the best improvement ), especially since I (we) know why your smiling! You were always beautiful on the inside, now you match inside and out! Thanks for all your help and I am so glad that you joined graduates! About 20 more pounds (?) and I will be paying a visit to the plastic surgeon myself. I think I need a tummy tuck and a breast reduction/lift. And after another round with pain killers post op, a couple weeks vacation at The Betty Ford Center will probably be in order as well, LOL. I would also like to thank , , and for sharing their plastic surgery experiences with all of us. Here are my questions for all of you . . . or anybody here that has had reconstructive surgeries after WLS: 1. I noticed that all of you are in that rare group of post WLS patients that actually achieve " ideal weight. " When is it time to visit the plastic surgeon i.e. how close to ideal weight/goal weight would be optimum in your opinion? 2. Did insurance cover all or part of your plastic surgeries? If you have an HMO, did your PCP refer you to the plastic surgeon, or did you go out of network? 3. If insurance did cover it, what was the wording of the plastic surgery exclusion in your policy? (All policies have some kind of plastic exclusion, with an exception statement usually?) 4. If you had it to do all over again, what would you do different? (i.e. do it sooner, later, with lipo, without lipo . . . whatever, anything you can think of that would help!) Thank you in advance, Vicki in CA <40 to BMI
