I have hired an attorney to help with my appeal for my SSD denial. He said that I had a 9/10 chance of losing the appeal as well. However, after the second denial, as I understand it, I will have a hearing in front of a judge. This seems to be the most reasonable process. It will be the first time the anyone from SSD will have seen me. It will allow me to voice those aspects of my inability to work that the medical record cannot. It seems like a long hard road. But...I won't give up either. It is definitely true that your actual words will make more of an impact than your records ever could. Pray that the judge hearing your case has a HEART. My judge was very sympathetic to all my years of suffering and treatment, and seeing realistically that I had not improved. I'll be praying for everyone.
