Hi Dave and all,

All the names are familiar because I subscribe to

digest versions of OSSG, WSL400, and ossg-friends.

The mail is overwhelming from ossg and I find I am

deleting alot of it because I don't have time to

read it. I subscribe at home to all those

so decided to do this one at work. You all may

know me as howiew@.... (Oh, the happy99

virus is deleted from my home 'puter.)

Anyway, I am so glad this one is started. I had

surgery 3/31/94 and lost over 200lbs. I find

now that I am 5 and a half yrs out I need support

more now than ever. My Dr. has been wonderful.

She still sees me 2 times per year and offered more

if I need it.

I still dump if I eat too much fat or sugar. I am

so glad because I could easily start grazing again.

Looking forward to much success and more weight loss

with all of you.

Rita:

Congratulations! You've lost about 44% of your total weight...almost

half...200 POUNDS! What I was wondering was if your current weight at 5 1/2

years includes any weight that was actually regained, or does it just taper

off after awhile? I actually like the weight I'm at, but am still looking

over my shoulder. It's an unpleasant burden.
