Hi ,

You are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO right about heading in the right direction. Now you

have taken the brave step of acknowledging your weight to the group (and to

yourself) the rest of the journey will seem so much easier.

Congratulations,

Marie

Onderwerp: First weigh in

Okay ladies, this is the first time I have said my weight out loud in five

years..that's how oyu know how seriously I take this <G> I wouldn't say it if I

weren't ready to change it. My Monday weigh in is 227. Whew! Thank you all for

giving me the courage to put it out there.

Okay, I had my broccoli for breakfast and am taking a homemade vegetable soup

to work for lunch. I will not have a soda (today) only flavored water. Dinner is

planned, veggie casserole and wild rice with rolls. The a walk and I should be

just about done for the day! LOL! I realize now that much of my problem is not

the kind of food I eat, because my diet is pretty healthy, it's the amount I

eat. Especially if husband is annoying me (by doing something as innoculous as

breathing sometimes) but I notice I have a tendency to get seconds even after

having this whole mental conversation with myself that I shouldn't have a second

helping! Anyway, I am approaching this like an alcoholic..one day at a time.

Right? Yesterday I took my ten and eight year old on a 1 mile walk. They wanted

to go further, but I explained to them that if I were going to be able to walk

every day, we'd have to start out slow..they were so understanding! Cutie

pumpkins...

Anyway, Happy Monday everyone
