Guest guest
:This is interesting to me, too. So how do you know you have a low immune system? Do you get sick all the time or were your diagnosed with low immune system by doctors? It isn't known for sure what causes MS (as we all know) but the docs presume we have overactive immune systems that eat at our myelin or something like that. I'm on LDN and the idea with the LDN supporters is that it someone "re-sets" our immune systems. But who really knows? lolSharon This email is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws or defects. Re: oh boy... n, I really don't understand if I have 2 white lesions and 1 "black hole" lesion and clinical symptoms, low immune system, etc. that they would undiagnose me. I am really confused and frustrated. On the other hand, fibromyalgia, MS and Chronic fatigue all have similar symptoms and I have had doctors tell me I have all of them but of course at different times in my life so I have no clue as to what I have. I also have Ebstein Barr Virus that is indicitive of all too. I know it's confusing, it is for me too. I just don't know what else to do now. And, the 2 last times I had a complete blood work CBC......it showed that I was borderline malnurished ( I eat and I am not underweight) which totally confused me yet once again so there are some questions that need to be answered but I can't seem to find a doctor that will look into all my symptoms or even want to. They treat me with one thing at a time, not all combined. Oh, and it's ok if you ask me questions. I will explain as good as I can from what the doctors have told me, which is not much. As for the pneumonia shot.....I have had it bcs of my COPD and Asthma and I was getting pneumonia every year.......you only need that shot once every 7 years. That's what they told me and I had mine 3 years ago and have not had pneumonia where I had to be hospitalized so it's worth getting it. The flu shot........ ..they say you don't get sick but I had it one time about 3 years ago also and I have a low immune system and guess what.....I got the flu and was sick for about 1 week. It doesn't happen to most people though so you should be good. If you have all that other stuff going on, it is a good idea to get both shots so you don't have to stay in the hospital if you get sick. Guest guest
, I am just itching to know HOW they determined that you have a " low immune system, " not exactly a medical term. What tests did they do, and what formal diagnosis did they give you> If you can just feed our collective appetities for more information, we MAY be able to be of some help--well, we do try, love to you, and thank you for your patience (really baaad pun!), n :This is interesting to me, too. Guest guest
You are so sweet, and I so appreciate your post back to me ! I have had pneumonia 9 times over the last 11 years; the last time was a double pneumonia about 7 or 8 months ago, maybe less. Another time was after my spinal tap, and I had the real bad headaches, so my neuro told me to lie flat. Well I laid flat for 2 days, and *poof* it turned into pneumonia! I do have a pulmonologist that I have seen, but haven't for a little while. Maybe I should see him, because I'm noticing it hurts in my back when I breathe. Again, thanks for your post. Guest guest
It sounds like you should get the pneumonia shot then. I'm not a big supported of flu shots or vaccines as you know.
