Another nephew (brother's son--age 19) has Asperger's--his father (my brother--age 52) has very strong Asperger's traits. A female cousin on my father's side has a son (13 years old) with mild Asperger's, and a male cousin on my mother's side has a son (21 years old) with Aperger's. A first cousin once-removed on my mother's side has a son (age 2) who may be diagnosed with ASD soon. My mother's side of the family has a strong history of severe depression and OCD tendencies and my father's side of the family has a history of asthma and diabetes (both autoimmune disorders).
