I have my first appointment with my new Dr. on the 29th. I wanted to

find out what are all the tests that they should be running for my

Thyroid?? I know FT3 and FT4 are more important than TSH. Are there

others?? What about having my adrenal gland and pituitary gland

tested?? Any help is appreciated.

They may consider the pituitary and the adrenal too expensive.. if you want to push for at least one of them, I'd go for the adrenal.. since that seems to be a much more common problem than pituitary...

You will want to make sure that they test your Ferritin level (storage iron) and B-12... Some are getting bone scans.. for a base line... I'd like to have one of those myself....

Those are the ones that pop to my mind right now.. I'm sure others will add to the list.
