LOL Gena! You should take that " fluffy butt " for a walk more often

cause that sounds like a great workout too. Glad the weather

allowed you to do this...it must have made a nice change. Keep on

plodding girl cause it will start to show soon. As for me,

weeeeeeeeell...okay forget I started that. I've not been doing

anything much and feel lazy but I just don't seem to be able to get

moving. Am I expecting too much of myself mate? I haven't fallen

completely off the wagon but I find not being able to go to the

meetings is killing me and I NEED that motivation from the meetings

each week to keep me going. Don't get me wrong, everyone here is

GREAT but this is just the way it is for me right now and I'm

feeling bad about it. Maybe if I bend over you could give me a

boot!! Will ya be in that Gena?? lol Oh well, I'll get there and

as you always say mate....one day at a time huh? You take care of

yourself and hopefully we'll catch up for a chat real soon.

Hugs, Kel x

I would do it more often. Like I said she pulls and pulls until she

smells something, then it is a very abrupt yank and like pulling a

boulder to get her away from whatever she is smelling.

### I always thought that was just part of being a dog mate. lol

I also don't really care to walk on our road. It is pretty narrow,

no shoulder and a lot of traffic and a lot of moose and other wild

life in the summer.

### Hmmm that does sound a bit dangerous. Moose...I've never really

thought about what sort of wildlife you'd have up there. I think

I'll stick to the kangaroos, emus and koalas for now though...LOL!!!

> Now, I do look forward to spring and being able to go hiking with

Mike and Cassie and this other couple want to go with us too they

said.

### That sounds like fun! Oh...I wish. :( Hopefully one day I

might be able to even walk around the block again...that would be

nice. Having other people to go with always helps too cause you

don't want to let them down by not going right?

I'm sure you are just feeling yucky and sluggish from having to be

immobile. I know it drives me nuts when I can't get around.

### That's an understatement mate!!! I can't wait to be able to do

things again. Nuts, crazy, insane, wacky....need I continue? LOL!!

You get the picture...

How is it feeling?

### Better but still hurts.

Are you able to walk yet?

### If you count hobbling around yes but I can't walk for too long

without upsetting it. Thank God for painkillers!

Is there a cast or brace on it?

### Nope...just a bare foot. There were 4 stitches but they came

out last week. On the outside it looks good but it's the inside

that is holding things up dammit.

I hope you are feeling " normal " again. Yes, I hope we catchup for a

chat soon too. It's been awhile. If not, hope you have a great

Friday. I'm just going through a few posts then heading to bed. I'm

actually semi caught up!

### Woohoooo..well done! Oh and 'normal' you say.........not sure

I know what 'normal' feels like anymore mate but I'd looooooooooove

to know. lol

LOL I'm sure it wont last. Oh, our weather cooled off again.

> It had been 35-43 the last couple days but tonight it is barely

20. I want summer!!!!! Well you take care. Mike is feeling better

but not quite up to par yet. I hope he's ok for bowling tomorrow. He

already missed last Friday and I'm going to miss next Fri, the

memorial. Do you guys go to that?

### You can only do your best at keeping up...it's all any of us can

do! Glad Mike is feeling a bit better again..he's a worry. I've

never been to the Memorial but am going this year. Danny has gone

on his own in the past though. Hope you enjoy your week-end

whatever you are doing. Take care and stay warm.....again. lol

As for the hiking, yes it is the highlight of summer. We really love

it! hang in there girl. You will be back up and about someday. Just try

and I know it's hard but try to be patient.

Love ya,

Gena
