Guest guest
Hi , You are so right. One of my mini goals (dreams) is to be able to walk in to a 'normal' size clothes shop and find things to fit me. It seems so unbelievable to me to think that one day I may (no, let's be positive, WILL) be able to buy clothes that I choose because I LIKE them and they look good. I have spent the last 40+ years being grateful for anything that fits - no possibility of style/design/colour of choice or considering if I actually like the clothes. Just finding something to fit without looking too revolting is a minor miracle. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO tired of being grateful for such 'small mercies' - I want to able to enjoy clothes shopping for the very first time in my life. I figure if the clothes I want don't exist now there are two possibilities. 1) Someone will bring out a brilliant new 'large size' range with wonderful designs, lots of choice and well-priced OR 2) I do all that is in my power to lose weight - mainly for the sake of my health but there is also a goodly dose of vanity lurking in there too. I have chosen to go for option 2 but I know that there are thousands (probably millions) of overweight people who would find option one preferable. Surely it HAS to come - this is more than just a 'niche' market and it HAS to be money spinner beyond all imagination. Cheers, Marie
