Guest guest
Hi , Thank you for writing me back, it does make me feel better to know that others understand! Good luck with your appointment tomorrow, I hope you get good news or at least the answers that you are looking for. Don't give up hope. My ep was Sept. 30 of last year and they were able to save the tube but it was damaged. They tried to reconstruct the tube the best they could, i guess i'll found out how good on wednesday. Gain your strength from this sweet daughter of yours! My thoughts are with you! Guest guest
Hi Abigail, I know how your feeling, me and my dh had been ttc for 21/2 years before my ep, we'd been trying for so long only to have our hopes raised, and then dashed again, leaving us in a worse position than we were before fertility wise. I think it's this possible loss of fertility that makes this so much harder to deal with. My ep happened nearly 6 months ago, ihad to have surgery, and still don't know exactly what happened. I've got an appointment tomorrow, so crossed fingers I'll find out tomorrow. I'm consider myself very lucky that I have our 5 year old, she has really kept me going through the bad times, and I appreciate that what you are going through must be so much harder. Guest guest
Abigail I'm sorry to hear of your losses. I can't even imagine since I think one is hard enough. Do they know why you have had your miscarriages? AF should arrive for me next week. But I think I am already having some symptoms. I am going to try and ignore them. Maybe they will go away. Welcome to the group and the ttc list. Pam
Guest guest
Hi Pam, I'm crossing everything and sending you positive thooughts for your follicle check today. It is a relief in some ways that af's arrived, but devasting all the same. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't always feel like getting out of bed, it took everything I had yesterday to get out of bed and go to work, I was so close to ringing in sick, but I thought it'd probably only make me worse to stay at home moping. Let me know how your follicle check goes never ready(baby mentioned) > > Well my friend who was pg w/twins due in November had her babies > Friday. A boy and a girl. Guest guest
I honestly don't understand why I am having this done either. But all I know is they wont continue any treatment until I do. I haven't been able to find any info on endo biopsy for the reason I am having it. If I do it doesn;t give treatment options. I got my dr to give me a valium before the endo biopsy though. I guess I have to remember its not important how our babies get here but that we become moms. Guest guest
Pam, Ok. I found some info. I checked out health.msn.com (search endo..biopsy). An endo biopsy is usually peformed to detect endo cancer however for fertility purposes the lining is checked to see if it is properly stimulated by hormones for implatation of the fertilized egg. I guess that is what you were saying but I just couldn't imagine they can figure out the amount of horomone the lining contains..but I guess that is definitely the case. The article also noted there may be some bleeding afterwards, so be prepared for that! I am glad you got some valium! I would probably need some too...oh, and a sleeping pill for the night before! Tylenol pm works good! Hey, I am still hoping you are successful on your own and this info is just more info! +++++++++++ Have fun with the bd! Guest guest
Pam: A LPD is in the second half of the cycle as far as I know. I do not know what a first half problem is called. Progesterone will not help problems in the first half - that is estrogen deficiency I *think*. I was diagnosed (via the EB and bloodwork) to have a LPD due to low progesterone. My lining was five days behind in building up past ovulation. Supposedly (I am not sure how they tell, but they correlated what cycle day I was on when the EB was done to where I should have been) I ovulated with no problem (even though I was ovulating on day 18 instead of 14) but after ovulation I did not make enough progesterone. If I were you, I would do some research online and find out about problems in the first half of the cycle to see if progesterone is the recommended course of action or if something else would be more beneficial. Guest guest
I hope your test on the lining goes ok and you get better results than you think! The IVF is a little scary, but my sister has done it 5 times, she says the worst part is the pg test at the end, she really doesn't mind the procedure and the process (even the shots), that is actually exciting! She is having a hystogram? or exploratory surgery in a couple of weeks to find out if there is any reason the IVF hasn't worked for her the last 4 times when it worked the 1st time.....I know it's a tough road and I wish no one had to go that way! Guest guest
Vicki I hope it all works out for your sister. I could never go through it that many times. It must be hard for her knowing she succeeded once. I know that I could never go through all this again. Especially if I already had a child. I am constantly depressed. It wouldn't be fair of me. I know we want two kids so I will consider myself very very lucky if I have one on my own. Besides the fact all the IF treatment and adoption is going to suck us dry. I loved your idea about the picture. Pam

Guest guest
Hi Pam, I'm sorry about the negative result, no matter how much we expect to hear it, it's always disappointing and upsetting when you do. I'm keeping you in my thoughts during your drs appointment this afternoon, and hoping that everything goes well Big Fat Negative (art & adopt ment) > Well my test was negative. Oh well I guess!! Guest guest
Pam, I'm sorry that was so painful. It sounds just awful. Glad, at least, that it's over. Take care! Joleen
Guest guest
I agreee Pam, what kind of a statement was that? I would love any child I adopted just as much as my own, we considered adoption too. I think adoption is cool. Everyone I know who is adopted is very well adjusted and has had a great life so far. You know these kids are wanted because you have worked so hard to get them!! I feel bad for my sister, but like you said, she needs to come to terms with it on her own. Take care, hope the results come back soon! Vicki giguerepw@... wrote: > > Vicki > > It must be hard for your sister. It is really hard to consider other > options. Guest guest
That doesn't sound bad at all and could really explain a lot. I look forward to you posting after you talk to the Doc. Have a good night!
Guest guest
Hi I was just going to post about that. I hadn;t heard from the dr so I called today. I had the test done on cd26. The test came back that I was cd24. So that doesn't sound bad to me. The dr I spoke w/is the one who did the test so now I have to speak w/my RE's office. I called today and they had the results. They were supposed to go over it w/the dr that was in today. No one ever called back. I called at 4:30 and they were closed. I am going to call in the a.m. Now I am anxious. I have an appt November 2nd to speak w/my dr. Thanks for asking. Pam
