Welcome to the group. Sorry its under these cirumstances. I know how

difficult it is to have a loss after so many years of IF. An ep is

devastating. I hope we can offer you help and support.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Just know that you have found a wonderful

group of ladies who completely understand. It's a long frustrating road

ahead, but it does get better. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love & hugs,

Jo-Ann

I also had my EP after 4 years of trying so I know exactly how you

feel. IMine was March 11,2000. I was tx with metho as mine was caught very

early. The girls here all have been through what you are going through. We

understand your pain. i wish I knew why we all had to go through this

horrible experience, but we all have each other to help make it easier. Feel

free to post as often as you need to. By the way my name is Kimberley too!

But I go by Kim.((((HUGS))))

(((((HUGS))))), Welcome to a safe place to explore your feelings and find

tremendous support. When I stumbled on this group in July,2000 I was amazed

to find so many people had gone through/were going through exactly what I

was. You can feel free to ask questions, get advice or just vent. When my RE

told me I had an EP, I didn't even know what it meant, so I have had a lot to

learn. I know it's an extremely painful and confusing time just know we are

all here for you whenever you need us.

Welcome : I am also fairly new to this group,

and have found it to be a wonderful source of support.

I had my ep discovered on September 12 (I was 7 1/2

weeks pg) and was given an injection of metho, rather

than surgery. I had the same thing, on my ultrasound

they did see a normal sac in the uterus, but saw the

mass growing in my tube. Horrible.

I'm now in the slow process of waiting for my HCG to

go down--my last level, at 3 weeks past metho, was

3,650--so I've probably got a few weeks to wait still.

Do you still have your fallopian tube intact after

the surgery? I'm sorry you had to go through the ep,

but you've found the right place to vent and learn.

Pam: I'm sorry to hear about your negative test and

I'm wishing you the best for your biopsy.

Krista and : Thanks for the welcome, and sorry

for my delayed response. I'm also on digest, so I'm a

little behind.

Yesterday, I got another piece of bad news. When I

found out I was pregnant (with what turned out to be

the ep), they had given me a panel of blood tests to

test my autoimmune system. Apparently, antibodies are

a major cause of early miscarriages, and I've had 3.

Yesterday I learned that I was a low positive for one

of them (which apparently only requires taking baby

aspirin to thin the blood), but they also found out

that I have NK cells (natural killer cells). From

what I understand, these cells attack anything foreign

in the body, like a developing embryo. I've got to go

in on Tuesday for another bloodtest to confirm because

they said there's a lot of false positives, but it's

just one more thing to worry about.

After learning of the ep, I was thinking that my other

3 early miscarriages were because my tubes are

blocked--but now I realize it could be because of

these antibodies, or maybe I have both problems. Can

I scream? I've heard about a lot of people who take

heparin, but the therapy they want to talk to me about

is called something else. I can't even remember what

it is because they were throwing all this medical

terminology at me. Has anyone else tested positive

for antibodies?

Have a good day all,
