Hello everyone. Yesterday, played in the sand for the first time. We have

a sand box and tried to get her to play in it in the past, but she wanted no

part of it. Well, now the sand box has been emptied out (somebodies cat decided

to use it as a litter box when the kids left the lid off of it) and we haven't

put new sand in it yet, so we haven't tried sand with her for a while. Well, we

had an above ground pool and there is sand under it. My husband drained it and

took out the liner to replace it, but we had a storm and the pool was destroyed.

We were trying to take it apart and she was walking around the yard with her

Grandma and wanted to walk in the sand. She had on sandals, but started kicking

the sand up on her feet. Then she decided to just sit down and play in it. She

sat there for at least 30 minutes playing in it and she usually never sits still

for more than 2 minutes. It was just amazing. She has always had issues with

everything and won't touch most things. Then

today, she walked in the grass with no shoes on. She was a little unsure the

whole time, but she did it. Usually the feet and legs come straight up if you

try to put her down in the grass without shoes. She is just making progress in

so many areas all at once.
