I wrote to our representative and so many more places! We mailed almost 50 of those letters out on Friday. It worked already. Patty now has an advocate too! Says they want to help Patty with transprotation and getting her service provider going! Yea, yea, yea. Now all we have to do is make sure it works and make people aware of discrimination and assumptions we and our children have to go through to stop it. Get Patty on things -- she has time and energy to handle it all herself - -with support from you, of course. I hope this is the beginning of a positive spiral (instead of the ol' negative spiral we're all so familiar with!)
